August Brandt was born in 1850 Blumenthal Germany states confirmed St. Magnus ( Father - Carl Wilhelm Brandt mother - anna wilhelmina came to charleston around 1863 if you have any information on this family or any living in the blumenthal are please contact me at sbrandt99@msn.com

I read message that I sent. Only August came to this country. Parents stayed in Blumenthal, Germany. My brother-in-law, now deceased states that before WWII someone came from the German Council in Washington DC to request that the eldest son return to Germany. My husbands father was the eldest son & he declined.
